On November 6, 2022, 29-year-old Willie Tucker, an African American male, was tragically shot and killed in Jonesboro, Georgia. The incident occurred early in the morning near the intersection of Tara Boulevard and Old Dixie Road. Officers were flagged down around 7:57 a.m. and discovered Willie Tucker lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
