Lieutenant Robert Joseph Staab, a 32-year-old officer with the Bal Harbour Police Department in Florida, tragically lost his life on October 31, 1957. On that fateful day, Lieutenant Staab was working undercover at a large convention held at 9801 Collins Avenue.
