Ricardo Sanes, a 21-year-old from Orlando, Florida, was fatally shot on January 16, 2014. The incident occurred when Claudius Smith, a 32-year-old resident of Orlando, observed Sanes on his property through surveillance footage. Smith's girlfriend noticed Sanes, dressed in dark clothing, walking around their yard and climbing over a fence into a nearby apartment complex.
