Ladravious Segram Bass, a 20-year-old resident of Orlando, Florida, tragically lost his life on July 24, 2016. The incident occurred at a 7-Eleven convenience store located on Old Winter Garden Road near Kirkman Road. According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Bass was found lying on the ground with a gunshot wound when deputies arrived at the scene just before 3 a.m. Despite emergency responders' efforts, Bass was pronounced dead at the scene.

Approximately half an hour before the fatal shooting, Orlando police responded to reports of gunfire near the club. Witnesses reported hearing shots after the club had closed, and three victims were found a block north of the club. The names and conditions of these victims were not disclosed. Investigators have not publicly confirmed the connection between the two shootings, but Bass' family indicated that he had been at Venue 578 before the incident.
