In the winter of 2014, tragedy struck in Baltimore, Maryland, forever altering the lives of one family. Marvin Lee McGowan, a 30-year-old African-American man, was found in his vehicle on the evening of January 8th. The car was parked in the 5300 block of Eastbury Avenue, a residential street that would become the final scene of his life. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
