Dalontae Harper, a 20-year-old male, was killed on January 12, 2014, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was shot in the 3600 block of Reisterstown Road, an area that was experiencing a significant amount of violence at the time. Harper's death was one of the early homicides that marked a grim start to 2014 for Baltimore, a year that ultimately recorded 211 homicides.
