On July 26, 2014, Katherine Bryan Hoover, a 25-year-old woman from Brooksville, Florida, tragically lost her life due to a fatal gunshot wound. Katherine and her husband were visiting a friend, William DeHayes, at his home when the incident occurred. DeHayes, who was reportedly under the influence of methadone and Lortabs, decided to show off his gun collection.
