On January 23, 2018, 16-year-old Brene Marshall, a Black female from Brooksville, FL, was tragically shot and killed inside her home in the Hill 'N Dale subdivision. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. and also claimed the life of her mother, Taneta Morrell, aged 40.
