Wilmer Irias, a 41-year-old Honduran man, was tragically killed on August 15, 2014, in Miami, Florida. On that fateful night, Irias was at the Marlins Bar on Southwest 17th Avenue in Little Havana. He stepped out to retrieve something from his car when he was confronted by an armed assailant. The confrontation quickly escalated into a struggle, during which Irias was shot multiple times.
