Melinda Roberts, a 43-year-old woman from Taft, FL, was found dead on October 15, 2014, in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. Investigators discovered the bodies of Melinda Roberts and her boyfriend, 52-year-old Theodore Riker, inside their home on 5th Avenue in Taft. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
