In the winter of 1984, the community of Chesapeake, Virginia, was shaken by a brutal crime that claimed the lives of a young mother and her child. Lisa Rene Nixon Sorrell, a 22-year-old female, was found deceased on December 10, 1984. Her body was discovered inside her burgundy Honda, where she had been shot six times in the head.
