On November 13, 2016, Xacia Burnem, an 18-year-old pregnant woman, was shot and killed in a mass shooting in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred in the Moncrief area, where Xacia, along with two others—22-year-old Kadejah Williams and her 11-month-old son Tedashi Williams—was targeted while inside a vehicle.
