Lois Evans, an 88-year-old woman, was found dead alongside her husband, Anthony Evans, 89, in the front yard of their Sarasota, Florida home on April 16, 2025. Authorities from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office responded to a distress call that morning and discovered both individuals had suffered single gunshot wounds. A small handgun was located next to Anthony Evans' body, leading investigators to suspect a murder-suicide.
