Aileen Wells was with her 18-year-old sister, Vicky Wells, at a gas station when Bonner approached them. Known to the sisters since their early childhood, Bonner shot Vicky in the back with a shotgun, critically wounding her, and then fatally shot Aileen as she attempted to run towards the service area.
