Anthony Malik Byirt, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 20, 2015, in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred late Thursday night in the parking lot of the Plantation Apartments on the Southside. Anthony was found lying in the parking lot with gunshot wounds, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
