On September 7, 2015, Khasem Yousef, 23, and his younger brother Faares Yousef, 17, were tragically shot to death while working at their family's convenience store, Snappy's Mart, located at 559 17th Street West in Palmetto, Florida. The incident occurred between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m. when a customer entered the store and discovered the crime scene. Both brothers were found near the counter, having been shot execution-style in the head. The Palmetto Police Chief, Scott Tyler, described the act as " ...
