Sandra Cook, a 54-year-old math teacher from Melbourne, FL, tragically lost her life on February 1, 2016. She was a well-respected educator at Rockledge High School, where she had been teaching since 2013 and was a finalist for Brevard County's Teacher of the Year. Sandra was found dead in her home on Chapparal Drive, alongside her estranged husband, Ricky Wayne Cook, aged 60. The incident was classified as a murder-suicide by the Melbourne Police Department.
