Heriberto Nieves, a 29-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically found shot to death on February 11, 2016, in the parking lot of the La Quinta Inn on Crossroads Parkway in Fort Pierce, Florida. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:50 a.m., when Fort Pierce police were called to the scene. Nieves was discovered near his truck, having suffered fatal gunshot wounds. The police identified the weapon used in the crime as a .40-caliber firearm.
