Corey Gordon Jr., a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 20, 2016, in Tampa, Florida. The incident occurred during a double shooting that also left 14-year-old Christopher Vilbreana injured. The shooting took place near 3614 Potter Street and E 21st Avenue just after 6 p.m. on that fateful Monday.
