Zedmon Culpepper, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 20, 2014, in Tampa, Florida. Zedmon was born on November 14, 1996, and was raised by his maternal grandmother, Zelma Culpepper, in a nurturing environment. He attended several schools, including Village of Excellence Academy and Tampa Bay Technical High School, and eventually received his GED from Riverside Academy.
