Christopher Scurry Jr., an 8-year-old boy from Jacksonville, tragically died on July 15, 2016, in Port Orange, Florida. According to reports, Christopher was visiting his grandmother, Sabrina Potter, along with his 12-year-old brother for the summer. On that fateful day, Christopher accidentally shot himself in the right side of his torso with a 9 mm handgun. The incident occurred at his grandmother's home, where he was under the supervision of his 80-year-old great-grandfather.
