On November 18, 2014, the body of 51-year-old Joseph Angel Ramos was discovered in the pond at Willow Waterhole Greenway Park in southwest Houston. An autopsy determined that Ramos had been strangled and suffered blunt force injuries. Ramos, a well-known restaurant manager in Houston, had been reported missing after failing to show up for work at Nino's Restaurant on November 8.
