Demetrius Clarence Lott, a 27-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on October 7, 2016, in Dade City, Florida. Lott was found with gunshot wounds at the intersection of Johnson Street and Dixie Drive, along with another victim, Daryll Collins, aged 44. Both men were transported to local hospitals, but unfortunately, Lott succumbed to his injuries. Collins was reported to be in critical condition following the incident.
