Destiny Mayes, a 20-year-old woman from Riverview, Florida, tragically lost her life on October 11, 2016, in Seffner, Florida. On that fateful day, deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at a residence on Park Avenue around 1:14 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Destiny Mayes suffering from a gunshot wound. She was immediately transported to Brandon Hospital, where she was pronounced dead from her injuries.
