On April 29, 1987, Rosemary Pleiman, aged 52, was found stabbed to death in a room at the Holiday Inn located at 230 W S.R. 436 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Rosemary and her husband were in Altamonte Springs to hire jewelry dealers for their business, staying at the Holiday Inn as part of their trip. At the time of the incident, her husband was conducting interviews in the hotel lobby while Rosemary went up to their room.
