Khamoi Petersen, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 16, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred at The Jacksonville Landing, a popular downtown entertainment complex. On that fateful day, a confrontation escalated into gunfire, resulting in Khamoi's death and injuring a 13-year-old boy.
