In the late hours of a Friday night in Oxon Hill, Maryland, the promise of the weekend was shattered by gunfire. On May 15, 2015, 24-year-old Deangelo Green was standing outside on Audrey Lane when he was struck by multiple gunshots. The Prince George's County Police were summoned to the 700 block of the street just before midnight for a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Green gravely wounded. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
