Glenn McNeil Jr., a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 5, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1 a.m., near the Seawalk Pavilion at Jacksonville Beach. McNeil was shot during a confrontation outside the beach bars, where many people were celebrating Independence Day. He was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the torso but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
