Toby Knigel Martin, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on November 2, 2017, in Sanford, Florida. The incident occurred in the backyard of his residence on Willow Avenue near East 7th Street. This shooting marked the fifth such incident in Sanford that week, highlighting a disturbing trend of violence in the area.
