Jenny Pierre-Louis, a 21-year-old Black female, tragically lost her life following a violent incident in West Palm Beach, Florida. On March 2, 2018, Jenny was critically injured in a shooting that also claimed the lives of her mother, 54-year-old Sylvie Louis, and the perpetrator, 22-year-old Javonte Carter. The incident occurred in the 2900 block of Hiawatha Avenue, in an unincorporated area of Palm Beach County. Jenny succumbed to her injuries more than a week later, on March 11, 2018.
