Kimson Green, a 16-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on April 8, 2018, in the Liberty City neighborhood of Miami, Florida. Kimson, a sophomore at Miami Northwestern Senior High School, was known for his academic excellence and was set to be inducted into the National Honor Society the following month. On the day of his death, Kimson was sitting in front of an apartment building with friends when gunfire erupted, resulting in his death and the injury of two others. ...
