Kenson Pierre, a 22-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on June 18, 2014, in Miami, Florida. Known by his stage name "Short Kidd," Kenson was an emerging local rapper with a growing following. On the night of his death, Kenson was outside his home on NE 133rd Street in North Miami, meeting with his friend and collaborator, Justin McAdam, a 31-year-old Navy veteran and photographer.
