Johnny Lubin Jr., a 15-year-old African American student at Miami Northwestern Senior High School, was tragically killed on November 18, 2015, while walking home in Liberty City, Miami. Lubin was an outgoing teenager with aspirations of becoming a professional football player or a police officer. On that fateful afternoon, a car approached him, and someone inside fired shots, hitting Lubin twice—once in the head and once in the abdomen.
