Thelonious Monk, a 28-year-old from Baltimore, was fatally shot on August 19, 2015. The incident occurred on the 500 block of South Catherine Street in West Baltimore, where Monk was shot at least once in the chest. He was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
