Joey Demeritus Canady, aged 35, tragically lost his life on November 10, 2018, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Canady was fatally shot during a block party on the 600 block of Ninth Street. The incident also resulted in another individual being injured. The shooting occurred in the evening, and the circumstances surrounding the event remain somewhat unclear.
