Sydney Aiello, a 19-year-old survivor of the tragic 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida, died by suicide on March 17, 2019, at her home in Coconut Creek, Florida. Aiello's death was confirmed by the Broward County medical examiner's office, which reported that she died from a gunshot wound to the head.
