Paula Ann (Klusener) Anderson, aged 39, tragically lost her life on June 3, 2019, in Orlando, Florida. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Orange County Sheriff's deputies responded to a mobile home on Old Goldenrod Road following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered Paula with a gunshot wound. She was immediately transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The investigation into Paula's
death revealed that the shooting stemmed from a confrontation involving her boyfriend, John Bowden, and another individual, Trevor Belair. According to court documents, Belair and his fiancée, Taylor McDaniel, had visited Bowden's mobile home around 2 a.m. on the day of the incident. The visit was reportedly to discuss the use of Bowden's property for stripping decals from a U-Haul van, which Bowden refused, suspecting the van was stolen. This refusal led to an argument between Paula and McDaniel, escalating tensions.
The situation took a deadly turn when Belair and McDaniel, who had initially left the scene, returned and began shooting at the mobile home. Paula was struck by one of the bullets and succumbed to her injuries. Following the incident, Belair and McDaniel were apprehended by authorities. During the arrest, law enforcement found crystal meth on Belair and a 9 mm gun in the vehicle, with bullets matching those used in the shooting.
Trevor Belair was charged with second-degree murder, along with drug and gun charges. The case highlighted the tragic consequences of a seemingly minor dispute escalating into violence, resulting in the loss of Paula's life.
