Latoysia Denisha Davis, 34, an African American woman, was found shot to death in the early morning hours of August 9, 2025, in unincorporated Orange County near Orlando. Deputies responded around 2 a.m. to reports of an aggravated battery in the 700 block of 20th Street, near South Parramore Avenue in the Holden Heights area, and discovered Davis with obvious signs of trauma; she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Orange County Sheriff's Office immediately classified the case as a homicide.
