On a Saturday morning, November 7, 2015, Trevor Joyner was fatally shot in the back of the head in front of a convenience store in the 5400 block of Belair Road in Baltimore. Police responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 11:33 a.m. and found Joyner face down. He was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy later confirmed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the back of the head from a. 38 caliber bullet.
