Todd Phillips, a 58-year-old African American man from Jacksonville, Florida, tragically lost his life on December 19, 2019. Phillips was fatally shot during a workplace dispute at the Pilot Travel Center on U.S. 301 in Baldwin, Florida. The incident occurred when Leroy Edwards Jr., a 56-year-old co-worker, opened fire, resulting in Phillips' death. Edwards, who was employed by Rinaudo Enterprises Inc., had recently been terminated from his position. The shooting was not a random act of violence ...
