On June 22, 2020, Kathi Blankenberg, a 35-year-old resident of Pompano Beach, Florida, was found dead in her home at 614 Gardens Drive. The discovery was made early in the morning when her husband, Philip Edwards, called 911, claiming he had found her shot.
