On August 15, 2020, Jael Findlay, a 21-year-old African American woman from North Lauderdale, Florida, was found dead following a traffic crash in Pompano Beach. The incident occurred around 3:19 a.m. in the 2900 block of Northwest 27th Avenue. Broward Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the scene and discovered Findlay with injuries that initially appeared to be from the crash. She was transported to North Broward Health by Pompano Beach Fire Rescue, where it was later revealed that she had ...
