On February 16, 2022, Jazzmine Brayboy, a 22-year-old woman from Pompano Beach, Florida, tragically lost her life to gun violence. In the early hours of that day, Brayboy was found in a partially submerged vehicle in a canal in Pompano Beach. She was pulled from the vehicle and rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead due to gunshot wounds. The incident also involved a 5-month-old baby girl, Brayboy's goddaughter, who was found unharmed in the car.
