Alaysia Hart, a 20-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on February 21, 2021, in Pompano Beach, Florida. She was visiting her mother in South Florida when she was fatally shot at an Exxon gas station located at 220 S. Dixie Highway. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. while Alaysia was in a car with three friends. Shots were fired, resulting in Alaysia's death at the scene and injuries to two others.
