In the spring of 2012, the life of Andre Curry Jr., a 28-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of Thursday, May 24, 2012, violence erupted in the 2600 block of East Preston Street, resulting in a triple shooting. Andre Curry Jr. was the sole fatality in this incident.
