James Lemer Taylor, aged 48, tragically lost his life on May 3, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred at JT's Tire Shop, a business owned and operated by Taylor for over a decade. On that fateful day, Taylor was shot multiple times by his son, James Taylor Jr., in front of police officers. The shooting took place in the passenger seat of a car parked at the tire shop.
