into a murder case. North Port Police arrested multiple suspects in connection with the shooting. Anthony Earl Wicks, a 22-year-old male, along with three teenagers—Javen M. Paul, 15, Navarius Mason, 14, and Gaven Scott Smith, 17—were initially detained. A fifth suspect, Travon Abdi, 15, was later apprehended. All suspects faced second-degree murder charges.
