On November 19, 2022, Dylan James Baker, a 43-year-old resident of North Port, Florida, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The North Port Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call around 9 a.m. at the Grande Court Apartments on Greenwood Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Baker with a fatal gunshot wound to his abdomen.
