Demetrius Wilson, a 34-year-old father of four from Lakeland, Florida, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2021. The incident occurred just after midnight at a Mobile gas station located at 1615 West Memorial Blvd. Wilson and his girlfriend had stopped to refuel after attending a Fourth of July event. According to reports, Wilson asked his girlfriend to take a photo of him moments before the shooting.
