Roderick Childs, a 55-year-old businessman from Lakeland, Florida, was tragically found dead on January 22, 2018. His body was discovered by a maintenance worker in his apartment at Lakeland Manor Apartments. Childs, known for his generosity and community spirit, was shot to death, and his white pickup truck was stolen shortly after his murder. The truck was later found abandoned, but the police have struggled to identify any suspects or leads in the case.
